Japan has had many different eras throughout its history that have contributed massively to what the country is today. One of these periods that had a massive contribution to both the culture and the language of Japan is the Nara period. This period aided vastly in the culture of modern day Japan. Current aspects of modern Japanese life such as Kanji, chopsticks and Chinese style artworks are good examples of the left overs of the Nara Period. China had a huge influence on the cultural growth and modern culture of Japan. Kanji and chopsticks are good examples of this.
